Chris and I got to attend the 2009 Children's Hospital Employee Gala on Saturday night. It was a lot of fun. They hired a MC to be in charge of the program that was pretty funny. They gave away lots of prizes (don't worry, we didn't even win a free ice cream) and we all had a hand held voting device to play a trivia game about the hospital. It was pretty fancy so it was fun to see everybody all dressed up because we all know that scrubs do NOTHING for the body shape! After the dinner and program we headed down to the dance floor and I, for the first time in our almost three year marriage, got to see Chris dance....it made the whole night worth it! We decided that perhaps we should invest in some dance lessons as a couple so we would even have a clue to what to do!

You guys look great! It's nice to have something fancy to go to occasionally. We've always wanted to take ballroom classes - wouldn't it be fun to do together?

Oh my goodness! How fun! I'm pleased that you had a good time. Oh, and Tyler and I would be happy to teach you guys how to dance...I know that's what you were getting at. ;) No need to be shy!

Lovely, lovely. I still wish I could see a picture with a fake background and you and Chris posing while holding hands. Those are the best dance pictures!
I'm glad it was fun and I'm so sorry that you didn't get to bring home any great free stuff. You can come over to our house for free ice cream!
I seem to remember being challenged by Chris to a dance-off during one of our high school dances. It was a hard fought contest, but Chris did come out on top
Linzi you are so cute. I know it sure has been awhile. I need to escape from my hole and get out. Hearing your nursing stories makes me really appreciate all you nurses out there! It looks like you guys are doing good!!!
Yes, law school. And we'll definitely have to pay for it! Just not all of it! Maybe we'll have to venture down to St. Louis to see you guys...or you can come to DC! There's more to see there.
