When we were leaving the hotel some guy on the street passed us and said, "what is this prom night?" Do we really look like we are 17? I guess the past 8-10 years have been kind to us!

What to wear.....

It's That Time of Year
Here's just a little something to get you all in the mood for tomorrow and the celebrations that come with St. Patrick's Day. The best part has to be around 43 seconds. Thanks Pete and Heather for introducing this to us years ago.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

My new friend Marcel
I want to take a moment and thank Amy Randall for introducing me to a new friend named Marcel. I'd tell you about him (her?) but I think he (she?) does a perfect job. Without further ado, please say hello to Marcel...just don't provoke him (her?).
Lint IS a shell's best friend.
Do you trust us?
We had a great time last Wednesday night. Some friends organized a nice dinner at a Brazilian MeatHouse for our married friends here at SLU (the majority of whom were able to attend) in order to celebrate our upcoming graduation. Luckily most of us were able to pass our meat bezoars* by the next day. It is crazy to think that we'll be doctors in just a few short months. What do you think...do you trust this crew?
*Bezoar - a bezoar is a ball of swallowed foreign material (usually hair or fiber) that collects in the stomach and fails to pass through the intestines. Thanks Scott for the very appropriate description of our post-meat festival state.

You never know if you are home alone.....
So today I woke up around12:30ish (I had worked night shift) and decided I would go and get a bowl of cereal and then go back to sleep. Chris was at stake conference (or so I thought). I went downstairs without my glasses on and as I headed toward the kitchen I saw a figure and heard "Go back to bed." It scared me so bad, but the best part was my reaction. Did I head toward the door? Did I run back upstairs? Did I pull out my awesome karate skills? No, instead I just simply fell to the floor and curled up in a ball. Luckily, it was just Chris and not some crazed criminal.
Perhaps a security system wouldn't be such a bad idea huh?
