So in order to settle this "little disagreement" that Chris and I had yesterday afternoon, I pose this question to you:
Can a reclining sofa foot rest support more than one set of legs? (keep in mind that the two sets of legs that I speak of are long-john skinny and myself!) One of us has this totally irrational fear that more than one set of legs will cause the entire sofa to break and collapse....
**Chris told me that all my "cronies" would vote with me (perhaps that is because I am the rational one!)

Oh, Chrissy (I only reserve that reference for times that you are being absolutely absurd now, ya know) I'm a proud Linzi-Crony (cronie?) but that is not why I think you're nuts. Couches are made to support much heavier legs than the likes of the two of you. Sheesh! Tyler and I share a leg rest all the time and it's just fine. Sharing a bum-rest, however...that's a different story.
I'm with Nurse Linzi!
As I remember Linz, you had massive calves. I'm with Chris.
haha so funny. i think it can handle two sets of skinny legs!
I love it, that cracks me up! But yes, Linzi, you are most definitely correct.
Dave, the lawyer, would like to see a picture to further evaluate this situation & determine his opinion. He also said weight measurements are optional, but would be very helpful.
I had a friend whose mother wouldn't let us RUN on her treadmill because she was afraid we would wear it out. You could only walk on it. haha.
I am pretty positive that the foot rest could easily support more than one set of legs. But since I am all about being extra cautious with my new furniture, I am voting with Chris this time. :)
Here's your chance to live wild and crazy! Why not put it all on the line and put two sets of legs on that foot rest?! I say just go for it.
Ha ha that is funny! Linz, I am with you. I think you could probably sit on the leg rest without it budging Ms. Skinny pants! :)
