It was our 4th annual Dodds vs Browns carving contest. Many different techniques were used this year, some cheated by using punch stencils while others free-handed their designs. There are also 6 pumpkins instead of 4 because a few of us got super excited and carved both sides!

Excellent carving skills! I'm going to vote for #2--I have a feeling it may have been a stencil one, but nonetheless, I really like it :)
They're all great, but we like #5 and 6 best.
I like the spider...and #6 looks like an expression I've seen Chris make before so I like it, too. Can't wait to hear the results! Fun tradition.

They are all great! You guys did a really good job on those. The kids had fun looking at them all.
Most definitely 1 & 6. The artist must have had some intense inspiration. Such insight into the pumpkin's soul! Such beauty. I'm tearing up just admiring them!
I would like to see number 3 lit up. It's a toss up between 2 and 4.
Number 4, the spider has my vote! Very creepy!
