We had a great time last Wednesday night. Some friends organized a nice dinner at a Brazilian MeatHouse for our married friends here at SLU (the majority of whom were able to attend) in order to celebrate our upcoming graduation. Luckily most of us were able to pass our meat bezoars* by the next day. It is crazy to think that we'll be doctors in just a few short months. What do you think...do you trust this crew?
*Bezoar - a bezoar is a ball of swallowed foreign material (usually hair or fiber) that collects in the stomach and fails to pass through the intestines. Thanks Scott for the very appropriate description of our post-meat festival state.

It's not really if WE trust you, it's do YOU trust you. On Ben's second day of his residency, he had to go to court to commit a guy. He just prayed that no one asked him how long he had been a doctor because he would have to have said...Ummm 36 hours? Also, he felt like he was wearing a costume when he got his first "real" white coat. Good Luck! All I can say is LUCKY Arizona!
