2-4-06

On a brighter note I have to admit that I am the man in our relationship. What I mean by that is that I am the one that does not remember important dates/information. It is so pathetic. I first forgot what color Chris' eyes were (we were engaged at the time) and then I forgot his birthday (we were on a family trip in DisneyLand and it just sliped my mind that morning).
As if that wasn't bad enough, Monday night had to come along. Chris told me he was taking me somewhere, but it was a surprise. We ate dinner and I kept trying to guess where we were going, he wouldn't budge. We started driving and after stopping and asking for directions we pulled into a strip mall and I saw the sign for The Melting Pot. He said to me, "What day is today? 2-4-06" (It took me a minute to register what that meant). It was the anniversay of our engagement and he took me there the night that we got engaged. It brought a little tear to my eye. Thanks Chrissy, I guess I can't say that your aren't romantic!

No, Shane's not jealous of Edward because he doesn't like to hear about it. He already thinks I'm crazy because I'm scared of vampires! I'm having a hard time getting through New Moon. It's a little slow.
