The Legend of the Bloody Sock, Part II

I'm sure many of you remember back in October of 2004 when the Red Sox made their miraculous comeback against the Yankees and then went on to win their first World Series in years, breaking the curse of the Bambino. You probably remember how Curt Schilling won game 6 of that series despite playing on an injured ankle that was bloody by the end of the evening. Well, ladies and gentlemen, I'm proud to inform you that the legend of the bloody sock lives on, and it's not just for baseball players.
I don't have time to explain all the details of this amazing story, but I can tell you this: The treadmills at the Kirkwood YMCA are more than meet the eye. While working out there recently, I not only received an injury to my ankle (rather like Schilling), but fought through the pain and finished my alotted 30 minutes on the machine!!!! I'm pretty sure that I'm a local legend here in Kirkwood, and I'm expecting the national media to be by any day to write some articles about me and this second installment of the Legend.
If you don't believe me, just look at the pictures...they tell the whole story by themselves.
The Legend, Part I.................. The Legend, Part II

Ha Ha, I love it! Not that you hurt your ankle, of course, but that the legend lives on! What a trooper! At first, I wasn't sure if it was Linzi or Chris who'd been injured, but after seeing the picture I really hoped Linzi's legs hadn't gotten that hairy since we last saw you!
