On our way home from house hunting (back in the beginning of May), we decided to fly to Utah instead of going straight back to St Louis so that we could introduce Samantha to the rest of her family. We didn't tell anyone....we can be quite sneaky when we want to be.
We left Samantha on the porches of both our parents and then rang the door bell and ran.
My Dad was wondering who left a crying baby and Hatty just kept saying "are you kidding me???". It was sure fun to be there for Mother's Day and to let Sam meet all her fun playmates.
Libby was way too cool for school
Paige and Sophie were so sweet with her and are going to be the best big sisters in a few months!
Grandpa Terry pulled out the old Yoga ball (our daughter is addicted to bouncing...) and it worked wonders
Grandma Hatty tried to be mad at us for sneaking around
(she is not an easy person to fool when it comes to traveling)
Grandpa and Grandma Karren even through a welcome home party for us...okay, it was for mother's day, but we like to pretend it was for us
4 generations
Dustin got to come for a day so we got a family picture
Joselyn and Jaxton suffered through a very bright and sunny photo shoot in honour of mother's day
Eli with his two ladies...I wish I could say that he was enjoying himself but he sure was glad when we told him we were done.
While we were there Emily was sweet enough to squeeze us in and took some family pictures and a few of Samantha (see side of blog). Thanks Emily, we love them!
It was a lot easier to fly with a newborn than it was to drive the 20 hours but all in all Samantha did really well during both. Southwest even gave her a set of wings and announced that it was her first flight.

I don't know what you're talking about. Doesn't everyone track their children and grandchildren on their flights? Just you wait, one day you'll be tracking Samantha.
I loved your blogs, especially her "Queen of her throne".
Very Cute!
