Chris had last week off and we decided to do a "stay-cation" so he could finish off the backyard. No one vacations like Chris Brown. He loves nothing more than working and sweating in the 107 degree Arizona May heat. I swear, I had to bribe him to take a nap!
Samantha was of course there lending a hand as she dipped in the pool.
This is a bad picture, but he finished the retaining wall, leveled the dirt, spread yet more rock, and built this little beauty:
Isn't it cute? We saw the idea on Pinterest and decided it would be a great addition.
Samantha loves it, although she is already disobeying the 2 major rules: the sand stays in the sandbox and no climbing on it when it's closed (we have a wondering neighborhood cat who would love nothing more than a new litter box so it has to stay closed when not in use)
I have a feeling this one will be a rule breaker for life!

That is the coolest sandbox! Wow. I am totally impressed. I love the little benches and the closing lid. Very, very cool.
Nice work Chris, good to see our vacations are very similar. Of course, it's not 107 in Minnesota. I'm glad to see things are going well down in Tucson.
