My girl.....

What do you do when you are past your due date and can't sleep- you catch up on blogging.
I guess I am getting a little emotional that I only have a couple more days as the mother of one.   It's hard to imagine loving anything as much as I love this girl.

She loves to "help me" cook.  We have matching aprons and everything.  She basically hounds me by throwing herself at my feet and saying "up" one million times until I lift her up onto the counter.  I then spend the next 30 minutes trying to keep her from eating raw eggs or meat or burning her hand in the toaster.

She hates it when I get in the shower.  She sometimes gets to watch a show so that I don't have to listen to her bang on the shower door.  She is seen here enjoying a tube of toothpaste with her show.

After hearing my stories about her bi-polar nature one day, Chris said, "she's like Jekyll and Hyde".  As seen below:
Hyde
vs. Jekyll

She discovered that glow sticks only make bath time more fun.

Here she is doing one of her favorite things: climbing around in the car.  She knows that honking the horn is a no, no, which only makes her want to do it so much more.  Little stinker.

Her vocabulary has really exploded over the past couple of weeks.  It is so fun to hear her say new words.  The past few days we have been talking about expressions.  My favorite is her pretending to laugh, but she also does a really good sad face, surprise face, and shy face.

She has a baby that we call Tiny (perhaps it is because the word tiny is written on its shirt).  Tiny has a hat and Sam decided that she needed to have one too.

She loves to climb on anything and everything- especially at the park.  Here she is telling me she wants a snack, for her and Elmo.  They both love cheese, chocolate milk, and yogurt.

A couple last shots as a family of 3:

Man we love this girl and can't wait to meet the next member of our family. I have a feeling that this baby is going to get plenty of love from their big sister.

She's so stinkin cute! This age is definitely a busy one--I love the bi-polar analogy :) So true. Also...glow sticks in the bathtub! Brilliant!

I can hardly wait to come and cook with her! Even though she is so busy, you wouldn't want it any other way. She is pretty darn cute.
