Chitty Chitty Ahgo
10. It was below freezing most of the time, snowed for half the trip.
9. We took the MegaBus (it is a mid west thing, it takes you from the Union Station in St. Louis to the Union Station in Chicago.)
8. We ate at Ginos for famous deep dish pizza. It took 45 minutes to cook the pizza, so we had a place mat decorating contest. I am proud to say mine won...well according to me! The pizza was yummy, but the crust wasn't as good as we were expecting it to be. It was like a cornbread texture.
7. We visited the art museum, yeah for student discounts! (can anyone explain contemporary art to me?)
6. We watched the original American Gladiators and Cash Cab in our hotel room.
5. We walked to the Zoo and Conservatory. (Both were free. The conservatory had beautiful flowers, it made me hungry for spring.)
4. We prayed with a homeless man. Yep, as we were walking back to the Union Station to go home, we passed a bunch of homeless people and they were all asking for food or money. We gave them our crackers and granola bars. One of the men asked if we were Christian and then started talking about Easter and the Resurrection and then asked if he could pray with us. He grabbed our hands and said an amazing prayer. Chris felt like he was on his mission again.
3. We took a boat tour of the river and learned that a riverside condo goes for about 4.5 million dollars (not including parking!) Can you imagine that. Who lives there?
2. We ate Molten Lave Cake at the Grand Lux Cafe...we scarfed it down in about 1 minute. It was to DIE for!
1. A homeless man asked us for change and we told him we didn't have any. He then asked Chris if the U on his hat (he was wearing his U of U hat) stood for Ugly! Apparently they give insults for money there!

Haha, I love how that homeless person said that! Hilarious. :)
Wow, sounds like a fun trip. And very cold as well. And I do agree, I'm hungry for spring as well. It's not coming fast enough.
