So Sam has been on a feeding strike the past little while. I have to fight for every ounce and every bite with every feeding. She doesn't want to nurse, she doesn't want a bottle, she doesn't know what she wants. Feeding her solids used to be fun, now it is a constant game on fighting to keep her hands down and her face forward. Last night was the kicker of them all when she actually taught herself how to gag. She gagged with every single bite until finally out it all came. At that point Chris, in all his wonderful wisdom said, "I think we should stop feeding her."
I don't know if it was the squash (which she has had before and loved) or the squash oatmeal mix, but whatever it was she was not enjoying it (sadly, we kind of were. Have you ever watched a baby gag...kind of cute). Wish me luck, I've got to fatten the lightweight up somehow. Now where is that Blue Bonnet I just bought??

Ew. Good luck!
Yum, bring on the ice cream! :) I went through all of that with Levi too. Don't worry it doesn't last (although his nursing strike was 2 1/2 months). Eventually they love nursing again and love eating. She's just keeping you on your toes. She sure is a cutie!
Confession: I pulled Sam aside while you were in town and told her she was being far too cooperative for you two. I feel responsible for this somehow.
