Now that the temperature is averaging high 80s-90s everyday, I told myself that I have got to be a responsible mother and keep my child protected from the sun.
To say the least, Sam disagrees
I even sewed an elastic piece onto it thinking that would prevent her from pulling it right off. I was wrong. Hopefully sunscreen will be enough because this is one battle I am not going to win.
As a side note, the medicine bottle she is holding is empty and yes, the entire lid is in her mouth.

Maya loves her hat. She wears it like a little angel. Bwahahaha!!!! Have you thought of creating a powerpoint presentation for her about the dangers of UV rays? That's what I did.
