So I always laugh when Chris will see Samantha doing something she shouldn't be doing and he will say to me, "We don't let her do that do we?"
You know, like play with knives and scissors, swim alone, play with plastic bags.....
My reply is usually, "it depends on what I am doing."
If I am trying to make dinner, work on a lesson, or get ready for the day, anything goes. As evidenced here:
She found the Q-tips. I didn't even care because I got to put on make-up and straighten my hair!

Sometimes the mess is easier to clean up then figuring out what else to distract them with :) I hear ya on this one. My kitchen floor always looks like a disaster while I'm making dinner. I'm constantly tripping over everything Sam is unloading from the cupboards. But hey, at least I'm cooking dinner right!?
