So last night I had my first really positive run-in with the law. While driving home at 11:30 with Nick and Dave after playing basketball, I got pulled over for speeding coming down the 270. I guess it's not a good idea to pass a cop going 10 mph over the speed limit. Who knew?
Anyways, I guess he was suspicious of 3 guys in a little car at that hour of night. I was a little worried because I remembered as he was walking up to the car that I'd forgotten to bring my driver's license with me. But he didn't even ask for it. Just asked what we were doing and where we were going and if we had been drinking. Then he proceeded to ask how old we all were. I guess I was a little frightened (I don't know why), because I quickly blurted out, "25!...wait, I'm actually 28!" The sad truth is that I'm actually only 27. I don't even know how old I am. Nick and Dave both got their ages correct, and after asking us one more time if we'd been drinking, the cop told us to go home and drive a little slower. If he'd asked me to walk the line you'd have a nice video to go along with this post, but I guess I was a pretty convincing non-drunk. Anyhoo, please everyone, remember how old you are. You might not be as lucky as I was.

Who would have thought that a valedictorian would forget a) his age and b) simple math? What happens when you ask a patient to hold up 7 arms?
