We would like to introduce you to our incredibly cute little girl born earlier this morning. Samantha Belle Brown was born today, April 8, 2011 at 5:14 a.m. She weighs 8 pounds 3 ounces and is 20-21 inches long (depending on the nurse that measures her).
It was such an incredible experience to be a part of the delivery. I'm sure it might be a different story from Linzi's perspective, but she did amazing! In short, we went to our appointment yesterday (2 days after her due date) and Dr. Tritto gave us the option of inducing her that day and we jumped on it. We went into the hospital yesterday afternoon, and after 14 hours of labor we got to finally meet "Squishy." We have felt such a rush of emotions that I'm sure every other parent has felt...it's been a very special day. So without further ado, here's our sweet little girl:

And she IS Squishy! Look at those darling cheeks! Kylie was born with cheeks and I can't stop kissing them - I'm sure it'll be the same for you and sweet little Samantha! Congrats you guys! So happy for you!
CONGRATULATIONS! She is beautiful, just like her mommy (especially after delivering)...and beautiful like her daddy too. I can't believe you had an 8 pounder! Wow! I am glad things went well and she is finally here. Haha, I am going to have to revise the gift I sent you, I totally thought you were going to have a boy. I should have known, it is always the opposite of what I think. Good luck with the move and enjoy your precious addition!

I realize I just sent you an email...but man, she is so cute and you guys look fabulous! (And I've got Maya here on my lap who is glued to the pictures and is cooing up a storm. "That's my little friend! I've missed her!" Seriously. It's so cute.)

Welcome to the family Samantha Belle!!! She fits right in.... as she is darling, and looks like a Brown!! Can't wait to meet her in person! I am so glad you had these pics on your blog...she is adorable Linz! But I think you are right...she doesn't look like either one of you! Lol, just kidding..but I can't tell yet who I think she looks like. I guess that means you will just have to post lots more pics!!! It was so great to talk to you today, I loved hearing the story and I love that we get to share this experience together. Congrats!!
