What a Blessing

I know this is a bit late, but I was just looking at some of Samantha's pictures and came across the pictures we took on the day she was blessed, May 22, 2011. We were in love with the little outfit that we found for her, and thought she looked very cute that day. We were glad to have Terry and Hatty in town (they were here for my graduation) to be a part of the event. Luckily, a few of our very dear friends we made during our time in St. Louis were able to help as well in the circle. We missed all our siblings, Linzi's parents and a few close friends that were out of town and wished they could have been there to share this special day with us.

As I'm sure any other parent will attest about their children, Samantha really is an incredible joy in our lives...she's the biggest joy in our lives by far. We can't believe how lucky we are to have her sweet spirit in our house. It's been a wonderful transition to change from married couple to parents-challenging yes, but a lot of fun and well worth the sacrifices we might be making. We love you Samantha and are so glad you are the star in our family (as our walls will attest...thank you Emily so much for the pictures and frames...they look great and we are already plotting our next purchase!)
