After 2 months we can almost say that Sam's room is finished, or at least somewhat decorated. I had to finally give up on hoping that I would get HGTVed!
The Riches were kind enough to give us their old glider and ottoman.Before:
After.Hatty made it look easy with her magic hands.
She was using her sewing speak like dog foot and a bunch
of other stuff I can't remember now.
The pillows were my attempt to sew.Luckily these pictures are far enough away that you
can't see all my many mistakes!
Hatty and Terry also recovered this seat when they came to visit after Sam was born.I got it at a consignment shop over 4 years ago and now it has a purpose!
Heather made her this amazing frame. It has both the addresses where she has lived, her name and all her stats, sweet sayings and every time I look at it I find something new. Love it.
Of course she is the best part.(Don't pay any attention to the spit up all over her and her sheets.)
Now if only the rest of the house could come together.....

The room is FABULOUS! This is when I can't stand that you live far away! We could've had so much fun doing projects (yea, in the midst of our collective 4 kids...) Hope everything is awesomeness! I still can't believe how gorgeous your chair is and can't wait to get an original "Hattie" in my house...
So, so cute! (I knew it would be) I've been waiting for some pictures of the room. You have inspired me to step it up and actually put the final touches on Maya's.
And...I can't get over how BIG Sam is getting and how adorably chubby she is. (I know, I know...pot calling the kettle...) We miss you guys!
So cute, it turned out great! Now come decorate our place! I stink at decorating and I am still waiting out for HGTV because I have no clue where to start. Love her beautiful bedroom!
